Best Darn 17" Computer Bag Sep 13, 2007 I have a 17" Mac Powerbook and recently got rid of my Targa backpack in favor of a more professional looking computer bag for work. After a strenuous search, I came upon the Brenthaven bag, ordered through Amazon (half-price from Brenthaven's site), and easily stuffed the laptop and all of my accessories in it. The padding around the 17" is exceptional and perfectly placed pocket for all your cables or airport adapters near the bottom of the bag. The zippers are extremely smooth, the shoulder strap is comfortable, and the bag is highly durable. I expect to enjoy this bag for a very long time...or until they come out with a 19" laptop.

Best I've Owned! Jun 09, 2007 I purchased my Brenthaven that was already made to fit the 17" MacBook Pro. I have purchased 7 or 8 computer bags and this beats them all!
For one, the canvas is ultra high quality - doesn't fade, lose shape or thin out.
My heavily abused zippers have not worn out.
Pockets are ingeniously placed! One fits both my Mac power supply and an external hard drive; one long pocket at the bottom holds the extension cord; then there are numerous pockets for mouse, cell phone, etc. Here's the secret - UNLIKE any other bag I've had, Brenthaven locates these pockets at different heights so you don't have all of your accessories jammed together at the bottom of the case!
They've make me a loyal customer! Wouldn't consider anything else - I am NOT the most gentle user!

Satisfactory and fits a 17" PowerBook Aug 30, 2006 Though it doesn't have many of the conveniences of my (recently stolen) Tumi, like externally accessible pockets for cell phone or iPod, slot for your laptop power supply, etc., it is one of the few well-made briefcases that will actually fit a 17" PB neatly. And, it costs considerably less than the Tumi!
